Weekly non-violent demonstrations against the Apartheid Wall took place during this weekend in the villages of Bil’in, Ni’lin, Maasara, Nabi Saleh, Deir Nitham, Boureen and East Jerusalem against the Israeli. Palestinians in support of International “Solidarnosh” and Israeli peace activists staged non-violent protests against the Israeli repressive measures to suppress the protesters who raise slogans of protest against the confiscation of Palestinian properties and the Wall Construction deep inside Palestinian territories.
In the Village Bil’in tens of Palestinian and international “Solidarnosh” inhaled tear gas during the demonstration among them was Central Committee member of Fatah Sultan Abul Ainein as well as Fatah spokesman Ahmad Assaf and a Palestinian TV jounalist.
In Bil’in Sultan Abul Ainein appreciated the steadfastness of the population and welcomed the support of the international “Solidarnosh” groups from different countries and particularly Israeli peace activists against the Israeli expansionist measures. He called to generalize the experience of Bil’in and Ni’lin that became a symbol of non-violent resistance against the Israeli repression and expansionism. He praised the solidarity of the International peace activists with the Palestinian population in the threatened areas.
Sultan Abul Ainein expressed solidarity with then Palestinian prisoners in general and the detainees of the popular resistance of Bil’in and Ni’lin. He paid a visit to the Houses of the killed martyr Fayez Abu Rahmeh and the families of the prisoners of Bil’in Mohamed Al Khateeb, Abdallah Abu Rahmeh and Hafeth Burnath in solidarity with their struggle against against the Israeli occupation, land confiscation and Wall construction.
In the village of Ni’lin, Initiative leader Mustapha Al Bargouti inhaled tear gas and suffered suffocation symptoms.
In Maasara, Fatah Central Committee member Tawfik Tirawi participated in the demonstration against the confiscation of Palestinian land properties and the Wall construction.
The Village of Boureen near Nablus which was targeted several times by vandalizing settlers and where the Israeli authorities are threatening to demolish a Mosque, member of the PLO Executive Committee Ghassan Shakaa, PA Minister of Religious affairs Mahmoud Al Habbash and State Minister Maher Ghuneim and Fatah secretary of Nablus area Haitham Al Halabi took part in the demonstration.
In East Jerusalem, the Head of the Jerusalem unit in the Presidency Office Ahnmad Al Ruweidhi took part in the demonstration and in the Friday prayer in the Al Bustan Quarter in Silwan in the tent of the threatened quarter.
