The weekly demonstration against the Apartheid Wall in the village of Ni’lin to the North-West of Ramallah resulted in the wounding of five Palestinians and tens of suffocation cases. The eleven years old boy Sami Srour was dangerously hit in the head and delivered to the hospital in Ramallah, while other four were hit by different wounds caused by rubber-coated bullets and different bruises in the legs.
The village of Ni’lin witnessed on Friday March 5, 2010 the weekly demonstrations against the expansionist and Apartheid Wall. The Demonstration was supported by International Solidarnosh and Israeli peace activists who marched in the demonstration and chanted slogans condemning the Wall and the confiscation of Palestinian land properties. The owners of the lands expressed their attachment to their lands close to the Wall by plowing and planting it.
The popular Committee of the village said that the Israeli soldiers launched Tear gas, rubber-coated bullets and live bullets on the demonstrators and the villagers who were working in their fields which resulted in to hand clashes between the armed soldiers and the civilian population.
